We've found that too much more pressure than what it takes to get about 5" of shaft showing really ramps up the spring-rate curve. WebMay 9, 2024 · Ride height is determined by the free length and the spring rate against the sprung weight of the vehicle. Measure your existing springs at ride height. Factory was 12" front, 8" rear. Anything more is your lift height. That will at least tell you where you are.

It's resistance to "S-ing" increases as its length increases.
