The speakers and headphone jacks go out all the time on Game Boy Colors and are the most common parts that fail in the system. Pick up a new Game Boy Color speaker for a couple dollars on eBay and it'll be really easy to solder in. WebI have been playing my GBC a lot since. However , I JUST noticed a very faint buzzing. I would not say it's very loud at all. However, I want to get some feedback. I have seen that it can be because of a bad soldering job (although my search shows that is if it's really loud). Others said a buzzing is common.
