WebSunrise Wind is a joint venture project between Ørsted and Eversource. The offshore wind farm will be located more than 30 miles east of Montauk Point. The project will generate approximately 924 megawatts of offshore wind energy, which is enough to power nearly 600,000 homes. Sunrise Wind is expected to begin commercial operations by 2025.
