Web19 nov. 2011 · I had to recently drain down my Ideal Isar HE24 boiler to fit a new drain off tap on the heating return pipe which was leaking. Refilled and everything is working fine except for the pressure guage which reads 3 bar when the heating is running, when the heating goes off it stays at 3 bar. Web25 feb. 2012 · Removing the cover makes it light, your ignition lead is shorting out on it or you,v got a flue/fan problem, more than likley the ignition lead. The one off payment is about £250-£300 and it covers the boiler for 12 months, i have heard of one for about £200 and covered for 30 dayss but not shure if its still in force.. good luck, Brendan.
