Web22 dec. 2011 · Re: mayo under my oil cap now in dipstick. This is very common on Golfs in winter. If your car's running perfectly and your not loosing coolant etc don't worry. It's simply condensation due to the cold weather. If you drove your car for an extended period or drove it harder it would likely not be as bad.
