Web25 May 2024 · You'll want to boost a fair amount of 5kHz to give the drums more attack. I'd also be ready to boost over 10kHz to brighten the cymbals, but don't go crazy or it will get harsh fast. A wide cut around 1kHz on the drum buss often helps as well.
