Much better than the old BB7s I had previously. But I have no experience with the Hy/Rd so don't know how they compare. WebI swapped some Tektro mechanicals for TRP Hy/Rds. The Hy/Rds have a much better feel than fully mechanical. Much better modulation. I've ridden my road bike down some broken-gravel roads that I'd normally do on my MTB, and I'm confident in the brakes being able to handle it.
